In 2024, imports of raw fur skins fell below 100,000 kg. In particular, imports of raw hides have decreased significantly. This is likely due to the inefficiency of the domestic tanning process.
At 280,000 kilometers for furry clothing, I think we are finally getting ahead of ourselves.
Many people still wear furs and walk around ignorantly in the city during the winter months. Please let them know that it is shameful. We need to let people know that wearing the product of animal suffering as a fashion statement is already unacceptable, and we need to form a society where people are not allowed to wear fur even if it is clothing they own, and ensure that fur is not tolerated.
Meanwhile, fewer and fewer apparel manufacturers are selling animal fur products. If you happen to see one, you need to speak up immediately. Even if they are not selling fur, it is essential to have this as company policy.
