The Animal Rights Center has launched a campaign
“Inside the Cage｜Where the Eggs are Born” to unobtrusively document and disclose the reality of cage keeping of egg-laying hens.
Based on video footage and observations recorded inside a single poultry farm, this campaign will continuously show, one day at a time, what kind of environment the egg-laying hens spend their days in.
It is not a special event that we are dealing with.
Chickens live in overcrowded cages, bodies unable to move freely, and in heat and emaciation.
They are the daily routine of the site where the eggs are produced.
This campaign aims to just visualize the facts and present material for consumers and businesses to consider in their choice to “choose cage-free”.
The record does not predetermine how long it will last.
We will continue to inform you about what is happening at the site where the eggs are born.
