Aiming for a compassionate society Compassion for all animals. We strive to eliminate the pain and suffering of animals, violence and discrimination against the weak, and environmental problems caused by factory farming and animal exploitation. We expose the actual situations of animals, strive to improve them, and propose animal-friendly lifestyles.  An ethical society, an animal-friendly society, a society with less animal sacrifices is a human-friendly society. We are aiming for a society where animals can behave like those animals. We conduct investigations necessary to solve the issues. Investigations become the basis of all activities. Animal Rights Center Japan Bylaws Bylaws   Chapter 1.  General Rules (Name) Article 1.  This association is named “特定非営利活動法人アニマルライツセンター”, or “Animal Rights Center Japan” in English. (Office) Article 2.  The main office is located in Shibuya-ku, Tokyo. Members driving ARCJ
Striving for the animals ARCJ currently has 6staff members, plus 5 board directors, 1 advisor, and 1 auditor. Also, members nationwide, and volunteers everywhere, are all driving ARCJ. Stance
Aiming to realize a more compassionate society Animal Rights Center works to help animals approach their natural existence and reduce their suffering in all areas. We mainly target animals under human captivity. Sometimes these two intentions contradict each other, but we want to be comprehensive without leaning to a single opinion and be objective for the individual animals and those to be born in the future. As it is sometimes difficult to make such judgments, we determine the direction of our activities by discussing among multiple people based on investigations and expert opinions.
